How to Use Your Beeswax Wraps
A beeswax wrap is a natural alternative to plastic food wrap. Made from OEKO-TEX certified cotton, Latvian beeswax, and organic coconut oil, these wraps use the warmth of your hands to create a seal around foods or containers, preserving freshness and extending the life of your food. Use them to wrap cheese, bread, fruits, vegetables, or even to carry snacks on the go!
The cloth is cared for by rinsing in cold water, then leaving to dry. If necessary, use a soft sponge and soap, but it is impossible to rub, because it damages the wax coating. The cloth should not be kept in heat and should not be left in direct sunlight. Do not keep raw meat and fish. The cloth keeps the product fresh and unfrozen, similar to plastic packaging. After about a year or two, depending on the intensity of use, it can be composted by cutting it into strips or restored with beeswax.
